Engineering Academy

Practical training in how engineering-office work is done in Singapore: choosing and recording assumptions, reading the LTA Civil Design Criteria and drawings, producing traceable calculations, and responding to review comments. Built first for civil engineers from Myanmar preparing to work with Singapore engineering companies.

Two ways to browse

By CDC chapter (LTA A3, Dec 2025 — all 15 chapters) or by engineering topic. Both lead to the same module records.

How you learn

Short lesson → annotated worked example → hand calculation → calculator or workbook → submitted exercise → reviewer comments → revision → portfolio evidence.

Access

Selected modules are free. Other calculators use the site's monthly calculator subscription. Reviewed assignments are a separate training package — ask us for current arrangements. Calculator pricing

Foundation pathway — first release

Status labels are shown honestly. A module is usable for engineering work only when its calculator version has been released by an independent engineering checker.

Planned pathways

These pathways will open after the foundation modules have been released and piloted.

About this academy. Exercises use fictional or permission-cleared data and are simulated training, not supervised project experience. Completing modules does not confer professional registration, LTA approval or recognised Singapore working experience, and does not guarantee employment. Calculators produce preliminary outputs for learning and checking; they are not PE-endorsed designs. Official requirements are in the documents published by LTA and other issuing bodies — always use the edition your contract specifies.
